We are looking for caring and dedicated individuals to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors in a residential aged care setting.
What you'll be doing
- Provide exceptional care and support to residents within our residential aged care facility.
- Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere, building strong relationships with residents and their families.
- Assist with personal care, including grooming, bathing, and dressing, promoting independence and dignity.
- Support residents' mobility and physical well-being, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Engage residents in stimulating activities and social interactions, promoting mental and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop personalized care plans, tailored to meet each resident's unique needs.
Waht you need to be successful in this role:
- Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing)
- Compassionate nature and a genuine passion for caring for seniors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents and their families.
- Empathy and patience to provide individualized support with dignity and respect.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in residential aged care is highly valued.
- Current Police Clearance (less than 6 months)
- It is recommended that you will have 2 COVID Vaccinations and an up-to-date Flu vaccination
