We are seeking an experienced Admissions & Engagement Manager to lead admissions, customer service and front‑of‑house operations across our Residential and Independent Living services.
This is a key leadership role that supports occupancy, ensures smooth entry pathways, and builds strong relationships with residents, families, referrers and the broader community.

About the role
Reporting within our Residential and Independent Living portfolio, this role is responsible for:
End‑to‑end management of admissions and enquiries for residential care and independent living
Oversight of reception, customer service and administration functions
Maintaining waitlists, enquiries, conversions and occupancy reporting
Building and sustaining relationships with hospitals, ACAT, referrers and other partners
Ongoing customer service to those residing in independent living accommodation from enquiry to discharge
Leading and supporting admissions, reception and customer service staff
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, standards and organisational policy
Contributing to continuous improvement and a positive consumer experience from first enquiry through to settlement and transition
You will work closely with clinical, operational and finance teams to support safe, efficient and welcoming entry processes for residents and tenants.
About you
You are a confident, organised and people‑focused leader who brings experience in admissions, customer service or community engagement within aged care, health, retirement living or a related service environment.
You can demonstrate:
Proven experience coordinating or leading customer‑facing or administrative teams
Strong understanding of aged care and independent living admissions and entry pathways
Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working in regulated environments with strong attention to documentation and compliance
A collaborative, solutions‑focused approach aligned to Coolibah’s values of being Caring, Collaborative and Conscientious
Experience with residential funding components, independent living regulations and sales and marketing activities will be well regarded.
